A lot of great things happened last year: 5 times Concierto de Aranjuez in Stuttgart, W\u00fcrzburg, Lohr am Main, Otello at the Stuttgart Opera House, concerts in Nuremberg, the Niederrhein Music Festival…<\/p>\n

New video<\/h3>\n

Because of actual reason I recorded the little “Serenade” by Sofia Gubaidulina. She died on 13th of march 2025 and left a subtle and refined oeuvre. For me most impressing her Trio for flute, viola and harp “Garten von Freuden und Traurigkeiten. I am thankful for this wondeful piece “Serenade<\/a><\/strong>“!<\/p>\n

Another composing lady led me to Oxford: Sidney Pratten! A recherche on unpublished works for guitar in commision for the Heike Matthiesen Foundation putting togeher a CD project. More on that later.<\/p>\n

New sheet music “Mallorca”<\/h3>\n

Isaac Alb\u00e9niz: Mallorca, op. 202 for guitar solo in my own arrangement, new in my repertoire. Who wants to dream from a wonderful isle holiday get’s caught by this magical music.<\/p>\n

“Frank & Bert” at Bavarian State Opera Munich<\/h3>\n

I am very happy to be part of the wonderful new commisioned opera “Frank & Bert” by Richard Whilds! It is a musical theatre for kids after the same named book by Chris Naylor-Ballesteros.<\/p>\n

It is composed for two singers and four instruments. For all further details go to the link<\/a> <\/strong>from the Bavarian State Opera Munich. Premiere is the 1st of march 2024!<\/p>\n

Since I played the guitar part of the Musical “Man of La Mancha” in 2006 at the Nuremberg State OperaI had the main song of Don Quijote in my mind.<\/p>\n

What was a spanish style improvisation of this song as prelude for the second part I worked out now clearly as a wonderful guitar solo piece and recorded it. All done in three days…<\/p>\n

There were 4 stunning videos filmed in the most beautyful church of Stuttgart, Old castle. I choose the Fantasie by Weiss on a special built lute-guitar, Sarabande & Double, Bourr\u00e9e goes Bossa by Bach with an add-on by myself, and wait for one of my most favorite piece released on Christmas Day. All could happen with a grant by the state of Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg, thanks a lot!<\/p>\n

I am very happy about our wonderful recording which we did like the last time at scb-music studio near Heilbronn. The CD is available directly from us, just send us an e-mail!<\/p>\n

Neujahr und Winterreise (06.01.2018)<\/h3>\n

Allen Besuchern w\u00fcnsche ich ein gutes Neues Jahr!<\/strong> Besser h\u00e4tte es gar nicht anfangen k\u00f6nnen, als mit einer euphorischen Empfehlung unserer CD Winterreise auf \u00bbKlassik Heute\u00ab, kurz bevor die Tournee los geht: Klassik Heute Empfehlung!<\/strong> Was f\u00fcr eine herrlich leichte und unangestrengte Tenorstimme! Was f\u00fcr ein angenehmes Timbre mit angenehm wenigem Vibrato! Was f\u00fcr m\u00fchelose H\u00f6hen auch bei unangenehm zu singenden Vokalen wie \u201eu\u201c! Was f\u00fcr eine Klarheit, Reinheit und Helle! Was f\u00fcr eine perfekte Voix mixte! Was f\u00fcr eine genaue Artikulation! Was f\u00fcr genau gestanzte Verzierungen! Was f\u00fcr ein klingendes Piano! Tilman Lichdi hat wohl eine der sch\u00f6nsten Tenorstimmen der jetzigen Zeit. Die ist f\u00fcr Schuberts Lieder und auch dessen Winterreise eigentlich wie geschaffen….<\/em> Genau dazu passt die Version auf dieser CD mit einer Gitarrenbegleitung statt eines Klaviers. Das passt genau zum Wanderburschen-Image. Und man h\u00f6rt voller Staunen, wie gut diese Adaption ist. An manchen Stellen klingt die Schubert\u2018sche Klavierbegleitung eh an eine Gitarre an. Klaus J\u00e4ckle gelingt das Kunstst\u00fcck, nicht nur die Klavierbegleitung notengenau auf die Gitarre zu \u00fcbertragen, sondern manchmal sogar pr\u00e4zisere Wirkungen zu erzielen. So zelebriert J\u00e4ckle geradezu jeweils \u00dcberg\u00e4nge von Moll zu Dur und umgekehrt. So realisiert J\u00e4ckle mit der Gitarre genau Schuberts Vortragszeichen, die so manche Klavierbegleiter immer ins Schnelle \u00fcbersehen. Die Staccati in Auf dem Flusse wirken gezupft doppelt staccatohaft, das Lockende der Triolen im verlockenden Irrlicht kommt deutlich heraus, das Kr\u00e4hen der H\u00e4hne im Fr\u00fchlingstraum wirkt klirrend kalt und sch\u00f6n betonte J\u00e4ckle hier die Basslinien. Das Tr\u00fcbe der Wolke in Einsamkeit steckt schon im trostlos-harten Gezupfe drin….(Rainer W. Weihnachskonzerte und Winterreise (27.11.2017)<\/h3>\n

Vom 5. bis 19. Dezember hei\u00dft es wieder “Weihnachten mit Marshall&Alexander” in den sch\u00f6nsten Kirchen quer durch Deutschland! Ich freue mich darauf! Und winterlich schaurig, aber doch so tr\u00f6stlich durch die wunderbare Musik wird es wieder im Januar, mit Schuberts Winterreise.
